Our facility has its own private occupational therapy room full of remarkable toys to have your child meet his goals in no time. Our occupational therapists help each child with their development in a social and physical environment. Utilizing a wide range of interventions, they adapt different tasks and modify the environment to enhance each child’s ability to function. They provide sensory-motor treatments for strength, endurance, range of motion, coordination, and balance. Also, they use therapeutic activities for memory, orientation, cognitive integration, and daily life skills. Our children are helped with their functional abilities and their daily activities, like dressing, eating, playing, or writing. What differentiate them from a physical therapist is, that physical therapists work with the physical body only, but the occupational therapists work with physical as well as cognitive, social, and emotional needs.
